One objective of the Advocacy Committee of Division 2 is to increase consumer advocacy. One means to this end is to provide education to help patients be empowered to self-advocate. A number of excellent resources continue to be developed that can assist us in patient education and advocacy. Here are just a few resources that may be of help. This is not a comprehensive list and we would welcome information about any other materials to include as we expand our presence on the ASHA Web site.
