Welcome to the fourth issue of Perspectives for 2008—and the last issue to be published during my term as Coordinator. As the saying goes, time flies when one is having fun. The 3 years of my term as Coordinator have been filled with great fun, much work, changes to the Division, and, on a personal note, the opportunity to develop friendships with so many people invested in the Divisions program and Division 2 in particular.
I hope that those of you who attended the ASHA Convention found it as educational and motivational as I did. Division 2 contributed many interesting sessions to the Convention program—both invited sessions and those presented by you, our Division affiliates. There are over 3,500 of you, and I join the Leadership Team in thanking you for supporting the Division and contributing to its continued vibrancy. It was a pleasure to meet so many of you at the Division 2 Affiliates Meeting and at other events throughout the Convention.
