Welcome, Division 2 affiliates, to the first issue of Perspectives for 2008. The Division 2 Steering Committee has planned an exciting year ahead, with four issues of Perspectives, ASHA courses, and other Continuing Education activities. I am pleased that so many of you value affiliation with Division 2, either having renewed for 2008 or joining for the first time. I hope the Division will continue to provide you with interesting and timely information, and I look forward to learning your thoughts about Division activities and goals.
Division 2 owes its success in large part to the volunteer leaders who serve in various capacities. I would like to take this opportunity to welcome a volunteer leader who is not new to Division 2, but is new to her position. Beginning with this issue, Katie Ross assumes the responsibilities of Managing Editor. Katie and the Guest Editor Leora Cherney have prepared an excellent first issue of Perspectives. Thank you, Katie, for lending your expertise to the Division.
