The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Division 2, Neurophysiology and Neurogenic Speech and Language Disorders, is approved by the Continuing Education Board of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association to provide continuing education activities in speech-language pathology and audiology. ASHA approval of CE Provider status does not imply endorsement of course content, specific products, or clinical procedures.
Last year 288 affiliates completed all four issues of the Perspectives self-study newsletter activity to earn 1.2 CEUs. We now are offering CEUs for each issue individually. Please pay close attention to the deadlines for each newsletter to insure that the process goes smoothly this year as we are all adapting to the new system. The deadline for returning all CE forms for the June issue is August 16, 2004. Despite having to mail in forms four times a year, we hope the new system will be more convenient for our affiliates, allowing you to answer the CE questions as you read the articles, not at the end of the year. Additionally, the consequences of missing one issue or one deadline are not as critical as in the past.
