The stated vision of ASHA Division 2 is “to facilitate the highest level of professional practice provided to individuals with neurogenic communication disorders.” Our mission is to be the voice that will promote, interpret, and disseminate information that is relevant to neurogenic communication disorders and to serve as a conduit for the exchange of information and ideas among division affiliates.
Within Division 2, there are affiliates who strive to benefit the membership by conducting and/or participating in activities that support both the vision and mission statements. Those affiliates make up the Division 2 Steering Committee and subcommittees: the Advocacy Committee, Research Committee, Clinical Issues Committee, and Education and Mentoring Committee.
