Hello, Special Interest Division 2 affiliates. It is almost inconceivable to me that we are already on the other side of spring with the beckoning of summer vacations. I hope that this second issue of the newsletter finds you well and able to enjoy the fast approaching “lazy, hazy” days ahead. (I know it’s been a long time since any of us had a lazy day, but I keep hoping…) You may recall that a little over a year ago, in preparation for our division long-range planning meeting, you were asked to respond to a survey about division priorities. A number of issues were raised, based on your responses and input from a number of key leaders in neurogenics. In response to that feedback, several Division 2 working groups were formed. Each working group consists of a chair and a committee of volunteers, including one member of the Steering Committee. The working groups were responsible for developing a 3-year plan to address their objectives. These objectives were summarized in a previous newsletter issue and can also be found on the Division 2 Web Page, which itself was an outcome of the planning meeting. The working group members have been diligently making progress on their initiatives, and I would like to update you on some of those activities.
