As fall gets underway, we are looking forward to a flurry of activities in Division 2, especially as we plan for the November ASHA Convention. I hope many of you plan to join me in San Diego, a wonderful setting for our annual gathering. Our annual Division 2 affiliate meeting is planned for Friday, Nov. 18 at 4 p.m. in the Marriot Leucadia Room. As always, Division 2 is sponsoring two sessions. Our Short Course (SC24), scheduled for Sunday morning, is titled “Memory Assessment on an Interdisciplinary Rehabilitation Team.” Our 2-hour seminar (#1028) Friday afternoon is titled “Contemporary Medical Issues and Cognition.” Both sessions promise to provide a unique contribution to the ASHA program. These and other sessions are described in the online program at www.asha.org/about/events/convention/program-courses/.
