The theme of Volume 14 has been Intervention in Community Contexts. The first issue described models and principles that guide assessment and treatment of persons with neurogenic communication disorders, emphasizing efforts within a community context. A particular focus was the guidance provided by the International Classification of Functioning, Disability, and Health. The second and third issues presented examples of how the models and principles were used to guide group treatment for persons with various types of communication disorders, and treatment for students with neurological disorders, respectively. Issue four completes the series with four articles presenting case studies of intervention in community contexts for persons withneurogenic communication disorders.
